Less than a week away from Palm Sunday and thus Holy Week. This year we have the added bonus of celebrating St. Patrick's Day during Holy Week as well as the normal festivities. This year's Lenten season has passed by quickly. Mine has been full of activity and I can scarcely believe it's nearly over. I've been involved in an experimental study group for the Parish that we'll be adopting next year. It has been eye-opening the different perspectives of fellow parishoners in the group. It has been a wonderful sharing experience, but this being the final Monday, the group has come to an end... Only one more Lenten Soup Supper this Thursday. The season has all but slipped away. This makes Holy Week all that more important to me this year. I hope to celebrate every moment, from Palm Sunday to St. Patrick's Day, the Chrism Mass to Holy Thursday, Good Friday to the Easter Vigil... And finally, Easter. May all celebrating the sacraments for the first time this year be blessed and always welcome in the Church.
