The Church in Europe

As many begin to discover the failings of secularism as they did communism in the late 80s, more and more Europeans will be seeking spiritual truth and will want to return to their religious roots. Should the Catholics return home, then we can gladly welcome them like so many Prodigal Sons (and Daughters). However, be aware of those who would peddle their own version of Christianity to those looking for a new home. Our Church in Europe needs to stand ready to evangelize to these potential reverts so they will not be lost to a slew of non-denominational mega-churches that offer little substance and ultimately cause greater spiritual emptiness. A concise message of reconciliation must be crafted and delivered to the generations who have turned away in order to reinforce the Church in Europe.
